About the event
The theme of International Women's Day this year is Break The Bias. One of the big areas of inequality and bias is in healthcare, and a lack of understanding by both patients and clinicians, is the differences between men and women in their healthcare requirements.
In order to break the bias in healthcare it is important that people understand that men and women have different healthcare needs and we need to educate everyone on what these different needs are and why.
We will be hosting a 1-hour webinar focusing on the importance of understanding women's healthcare needs.
We will cover
The unique health, fitness and nutritional challenges faced by women and strategies for addressing them.
The health implications of different types of exercise and practical tips to improve your exercise regime.
The changing nutritional requirements of and practical tips to optimise your health.
